Does your company have a Health and Safety policy?
We have a Health & Safety policy, carry out Risk Assessments and if required we can provide COSHH data sheets.
Are I Clean it fully insured?
Yes, we have a £5,000,000 full public liability cover.
Will you provide the cleaning materials and equipment?
We will provide all the necessary cleaning materials and cleaning equipment.
Can I specify the days for the cleaning?
Of course! You can specify the days for cleaning and we will make every effort to meet your requirements.
Can you provide references from some of your customer?
Yes, we can provide references from our current customers and are available upon request.
What if I am not satisfied with your clean?
We are in business today because of a long list of satisfied clients. In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied for whatever reasons simply give us a call and a member of I Clean It will have your problem rectified immediately.
How are I Clean It different from any other contract cleaning service company?

Office Cleaning
Most commercial cleaning companies expect me to sign up to a minimum term contract, does I CLean It?
No, I Clean it does not sign you up to any short or long term cleaning service contracts.
Can you wash our kitchen and bathroom towels?
Yes. We offer a laundering service to most of our customers.
We have in-house cleaners but they don't know how to carry out more specialised jobs like de-scaling washroom facilities, maintaining the tiled floors etc. Would you be interested in helping us?
Yes. We can help you with the more specialised cleaning jobs.
How will you enter my office on my scheduled days of cleaning?
This is up to you; many of our customers provide us with keys and alarm codes which are kept safe and secure.

Carpet Cleaning
Once my carpets have been cleaned are they left wet for hours on end?
No, in fact the best way to describe how your carpets is to imagine a used towel once you have finished in the shower this is the same dampness you can expect and should be dry within 4-6 hours.
If I request my carpets to be cleaned do I have to clear the area prior to your operatives arriving?
Generally yes, we do ask that as much of the carpet areas that are to be cleaned are free from obstructions.
My carpet still has stains after cleaning
Not all stains can be removed as some carpets can not be Hot Washed as they will shrink, such as 100% wool mix carpets. Other causes are due to the high volume of traffic and built in stains. Chemicals or materials such as oil or ink need to ideally be treated at the time of the spill as they do not always come out after having been left to become absorbed by the carpet.
How long does it take for the carpet cleaning to be carried out?
Normally it takes from 2 to 4 hours but it all depends on the size of the area and the level of soil.

Window Cleaning
How do Pure Water Fed Pole Systems work?
Water fed pole window cleaning resourcefully cleans windows, panelling, canopies, cladding and fascia leaving a fantastic smear free finish and effortlessly reaches difficult access areas, including over flower beds and Fish Ponds etc. also maintaining privacy and reducing disturbances and can be safely operated by a single operator from the ground.
Reduces or eliminates the use of ladders and access platforms increasing safety to both client and contractor in accordance with the new Health and Safety regulations. The system itself uses a glass and carbon fibre pole that can extend up to 65 feet (approx 5 floors) and distributes pure de-ionised, detergent-free water to the brush head thus attracting and absorbing the dirt cleaning and evaporating naturally leaving a sparkling finish
No chemicals are used, making this system environmentally friendly and complying with EU regulations.
Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS)
When windows, fascias, cladding etc cannot be reached by our reach and wash pole system or ladders alone we can use a Mobile Elevated Working Platform.
We can access buildings up to 110ft high using Truck Mounted Platforms, Spiders Cherry Pickers and Scissor Lifts which can be used for cleaning both internal and external windows etc.

Pressure Washing
How long will it take?
With the high pressure equipment we use it takes a fraction of the time that would be required by a domestic jet-washer. The high-tech design of our low level rotary cleaner keeps the mess under control and away from adjacent areas. Areas of 200 to 400 square metres can be completed in a day, although a follow up visit may be required to brush in the sand. If the application of a sealant is ordered this normally requires a second visit to apply the sealant.
How much will it cost for cleaning and if required re-sanding?
This depends on the surface area to be cleaned and for driveways and as an example an average 2 car driveway will cost in the region of £100.00 for cleaning.
There is however a minimum charge of £75.00.
Will you Charge me for a quoatation?
Please note that all quotations which involve a visit to make an assessment, are given free of charge.
How long does the sealing last?
Depending on local conditions, the acrylic sealant last 1 to 3 years between re-treatments and the pre-polymer urethane sealant typically double this time. Routine regular light rinsing helps to prolong the condition of the surface. If you would like a regular maintenance visit from I Clean It, please contact us.
Can oil stains be completely removed?
In most cases they can be nearly completely removed, but in severe cases where the stains have been in place a long time it may be necessary to treat the area with a sealant after cleaning, to blend out any small residual stains. The picture sequence on the right of this text shows the oil stain and then the cleaned surface prior to blending out the residual discolouration with a sealant.
